This Privacy Policy explains what information Green Energy Biofuel LLC (“Green Energy Biofuel,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects through gebiofuel.com (the “Website”) and our text messaging program (the “SMS Program”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Our Terms and Conditions also apply.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the Website, call, email or text us, we collect what you provide. Depending on the form, this can include:

  • Contact and service request forms: first and last name, company or business name, email address, phone number, zip code, industry and your comments.
  • SMS opt-in form: business name, contact name, mobile phone number, email address and your consent choices.
  • Speaker request form: name, email, phone number, organization, role, and details of your event such as its name, dates, location, audience and budget.
  • Newsletter signup: your email address and any other details the form asks for.
  • SMS Program: your mobile number, your consent, and messages you send us, including STOP and HELP replies.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, our servers and the third-party tools listed below may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the page that referred you, and similar usage information, using cookies, pixels and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions and requests, prepare quotes, and schedule and provide our services.
  • To manage customer accounts, rebates and service records.
  • To send text messages you have agreed to receive, and to honor opt-out requests.
  • To send newsletters and service news you have signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how the Website is used and to improve it.
  • To protect the Website from spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with the law and enforce our agreements.

3. Text messaging (SMS)

We use your mobile number and consent only to run the SMS Program and to provide our services to you. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers (such as our messaging platform and mobile carriers) that deliver messages on our behalf.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

4. Third-party services we use

The Website uses the following services, which may collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies:

  • Google Tag Manager and the analytics tools it loads, such as Google Analytics, to measure Website traffic.
  • Google reCAPTCHA, to protect our forms from spam. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Google Maps and Google Fonts, to show maps of our locations and display text.
  • Adobe Fonts, to display headings.
  • YouTube, for embedded videos.
  • Trustindex, to display customer reviews.
  • Zoho CRM and Zoho Forms, which receive and store the information you submit in our contact, service request and SMS opt-in forms.
  • Ninja Forms, which stores newsletter signups on our Website.
  • Links to our pages on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Those services collect information when you visit them.
  • Google Ads, the Meta Pixel and the OpenAI ads pixel, for remarketing and to measure ad results. See section 5.

5. Remarketing and interest-based advertising

We use remarketing and ad measurement services from Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and OpenAI to show our ads to people who have visited the Website when they later use other websites and apps, and to measure whether our ads lead to inquiries. These services use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to recognize your browser or device, and they collect information such as the pages you visited, when you visited, and whether you submitted a form. Each service handles this information under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your contact information.

You can opt out of personalized ads through Google Ad Settings, Meta ad preferences, the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Opting out does not stop you from seeing ads, but the ads will not be based on your visits to the Website.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your contact information. We share it only:

  • With service providers that help us run our business and the Website, such as our website host, CRM, form, email and messaging providers. They may use it only to provide services to us.
  • With our sister company ReSoil Compost, when needed to provide a service you asked about, such as composting. This does not include your mobile number or SMS consent.
  • If required by law, court order or a government request, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of others.
  • As part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to your information.
  • With your consent.

7. Cookies and your choices

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Some parts of the Website, such as embedded videos, maps and form spam protection, may not work properly without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to provide services, keep business and tax records, and resolve disputes. We keep a record of SMS opt-outs so we can continue to honor them.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails or texts, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity. We may keep some information when the law requires it or when we need it for an existing service relationship.

10. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website, internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

11. Children

The Website is meant for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes to how we use mobile numbers or SMS consent, we will notify SMS Program participants.
