Dear Valued Customer,

As the Covid-19 situation is evolving, we would like to update you with the latest information on Green Energy Biofuel’s plans and activities to manage this situation. Our highest priorities are to protect our employees, their families, and continue to serve our customers. We remain dedicated to serving you every day with the same commitment to our values.

Based on the social distancing recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that were extended to the end of April, Green Energy Biofuel is continuing to allow employees whose job functions permit to work from home. We have executed general safety actions such as posting information about the importance of handwashing and good hygiene, eliminating office visits from non-employees, increasing cleaning regimens, ordering additional cleaning supplies, and not allowing employees to come in if they have any symptoms of illness.

For our collection drivers, Green Energy Biofuel is taking proactive measures.  This includes wearing gloves and using sanitizing kits to wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces both inside and out of the truck at the end of each service stop.  We kindly ask you to maintain at least 6 feet distance from drivers to prevent the possible spread of the virus in either direction, as there is concern about disease transmission from people that have no symptoms of illness.

Green Energy Biofuel is committed to providing transparent information on all our activities and any changes we may execute.  We encourage you to contact us if you transitioned to pick-up and delivery only service so we can continue servicing your location. Changes in waste cooking oil volumes were observed and we continue to evaluate the situation. Our operating plans were modified accordingly to the general situation in the area and your service needs.  For now, will-call pickups will be the only way of service. If your restaurant is still serving customers please contact us so we can ensure the continuous service.
