For the fourth year in a row, G.E.B was proud to present a donation to the University of South Carolina’s Sustainable Carolina program. This year’s donation totaled over $2100 dollars! The Sustainable Carolina program was created to help reduce the university’s environmental footprint and as well as to mold sustainable minded students for the renewable energy work force. Every year, the program develops new initiatives and projects that focus on promoting sustainability awareness. This year, our donation will help fund the new butterfly and vertical gardens at the Benson School on campus. It is critically important to us that we assist in promoting local sustainability projects, especially those that are non-traditional, as we as a company are constantly developing new techniques! On April 17th, Bio Joe presented our donation during the SC “Earth Stock” event, which highlights the university’s sustainable food growing initiative. We are extremely proud to work with USC and Sustainable Carolina, with our close ties to the university, as our CFO and majority owner, Beth Renwick, is a USC alumni! We look forward to continuing our partnership with the university and the Sustainable Carolina program! #FuelingOurFuture
